Hey! I'm Janay, but you can call me Nay Nay. I’m originally from Mobile, Alabama, but I’ve been rocking Atlanta as my home since I was 13. I’ve always loved photography, but it wasn’t until 2020—when the world hit pause—that I really dove in. I also snagged dual degrees from Full Sail University in Web Design and Media Design (Branding), but photography is where my heart sings. It’s my ultimate passion—my Selena to Justin, my Kenan to Kel!

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with amazing local artists like Jessica Jayh, Remey Williams, Joy Conaway, Erika Janaé, and more. I’m also inspired by super dope photographers like Marina Williams, Cassidy Lynn, and Jordan Viision to name a few. If I had to describe my photography style it would be Fun, Organic, and full of Soul!

Cheers, Nay

Creating Unforgettable Moments with Grace and a Huge Smile

Reflecting on the past three years fills me with gratitude. I've been blessed to travel to incredible places, photograph inspiring individuals, and capture unforgettable moments. Every experience has felt divinely orchestrated, a testament to God's design.

As a photographer, I thrive on capturing moments that convey emotion and atmosphere. Candid photography, in particular, resonates deeply with me because it authentically captures the essence of a moment, something I find challenging to pose artificially.

Being in an environment with so many creative minds is exhilarating!

In 2023, this accomplishment stands out as the pinnacle for me, and I owe immense gratitude to Fifth Creative and Slate 32 events for entrusting me with my first major project alongside prominent figures: Fantasia and Ricco Barrino. It was a pivotal opportunity where I felt compelled to demonstrate my ability to capture remarkable images, regardless of the circumstances—and I delivered!

You know that rush when adrenaline takes over, and the work is almost a blur, yet you can close your eyes and know it was executed flawlessly? That's exactly how I felt—overwhelmingly proud and thankful! I eagerly anticipate more such experiences in 2024 and look forward to connecting with even more inspiring creatives in this field.
