Joy In Bloom Photoshoot

~I can't believe I actually started a BLOG, OMG! This photo shoot was named Joy In Bloom because her name is Joy and these photos had a natural progression from subtle, colorless, and almost (I said almost) lifeless, to VA VA VOOM, bright, colorful, and IN BLOOM! Joy is a local Atlanta Singer/Songwriter who absolutely adores sunflowers. This shoot allowed her and me to be free and explore unique possibilities. As a young, black, female photographer, it means a lot for me to photograph other young, black women and make them feel absolutely BEAUTIFUL! okay, enough about this shoot, take a look at some of my favorite moments~
